It’s time once again to learn more about the people who make up AgConnect Ministries’ Board of Directors! Up next on the list is Karl Yoder, who has faithfully served with ACM since its inception and operates as the board’s treasurer.
Karl is a dedicated and loyal servant who is most comfortable helping behind the scenes. He and his wife Julie live in the farmland of Strasburg with their grandson Kayden. Their family has had much to celebrate this past year with the marriage of both of their daughters, Katie and Jamie! Concerning career, Karl has spent most of his life in the car business. He has worked in reconditioning, sales, and is now a buyer of used cars for Lancaster County Motors. The company has five franchises: Hyundai, Kia, Subaru, Mercedes Benz, and Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep.
As Karl reflects on various circumstances throughout his life, he has seen the love and protection of the Lord repeatedly. Being able to testify to the Lord’s goodness, he describes his relationship with the Lord as one of deep faith. This faith has proven to be foundational as he has carefully monitored the finances of ACM because, like any Christian non-profit organization with small beginnings, the ministry has gone through seasons when God provided the necessary finances not a moment too soon. Knowing that the Lord will provide makes all the difference!
For Karl, AgConnect Ministries is more than an organization; it is family! Karl and Les Yoder are brothers, and Karl is committed to seeing Les succeed in the unique and impactful mission that God has given him. In his supporting role on the Board of Directors, Karl finds the most fulfillment as he watches the board members interact with each other. There is a strong sense of unity and purpose within the board; everyone seeks God’s blessing in order to fulfill His distinct mission for ACM in Moldova and beyond. And while Karl hasn’t visited Moldova yet, he would love to go at some point to meet the people his brother Les has such love for, as well as experience the country that has become another home for Les.
If AgConnect Ministries could be summed up in just a few words, what would those words be? Karl boils the ministry down to its very core: Sharing Jesus’ love. Family relationships aside, that is a mission worth Karl’s wholehearted investment!

Ukrainian Refugee Aid Update
Within the last month there has been an increase in the number of Ukrainian refugees in Moldova. Many who had come to Moldova in the early part of the war chose to return to Ukraine this summer. But with the increased fighting, more people are coming back to Moldova. Expectations are that numbers would continue to rise this winter as many Ukrainians are facing a winter with limited heat and water. AgConnect Ministries is continuing to provide food and supplies to refugees in Maximovca, and is also providing financial assistance to Moldovan pastors who are purchasing supplies to take into Ukraine and distributing them to Ukrainian pastors.
